Student of the Week for January 5-9:
Baleigh Stockton is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Carol Ragan's Kindergarten class. Baleigh's favorite subject is Math. Her favorite related arts class is Art. Baleigh's favorite food is mashed potatoes. When Baleigh grows up she wants to be a nurse. Mrs. Ragan says "Baleigh is such an encourager of her classmates. Not only does she encourage when someone is struggling, but even more impressive is when she encourages when someone is succeeding or winning, even when she isn't. She is always the first to say congratulations. Baleigh's kindness, leadership, and good choices make her a very deserving student of the week."
Student of the Week for January 12-16:
Kaylynn Lackey is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Lauren Griffin's fifth grade class. Kaylynn's favorite subject is Math. Her favorite related arts class is P.E. Kaylynn's favorite food is fried chicken. When Kaylynn grows up she wants to be a doctor. Mrs. Griffin says "Kaylynn always gives her best effort. She is kind and respectful, and she volunteers to help others."
Student of the Week for January 19-23:
Summer Mangrum is the Star Student of the Week from Ms. Barbara Buhler's fourth grade class. Summer's favorite subject is Math. Her favorite related arts class is P.E. Summer's favorite food is steak. When Summer grows up she wants to be a teacher. Ms. Buhler says "Our class chose Summer because she is an excellent example of what a star student should be. She is kind to others and is a helpful peer tutor. She makes excellent grades because she always puts forth her best effort."
Student of the Week for January 26-30th:
Benjamin Rubio is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Brandy Reinard and Mrs. Tracy Robinson's third grade class. Benjamin's favorite subject is Math. His favorite related arts class is P.E. Benjamin's favorite food is pizza. When Benjamin grows up he wants to be a paleontologist. Mrs. Robinson says "Benjamin was chosen because of his willingness to help out, his kindness to others, and for his exemplary behavior in the month of January. "
