Student of the Week for April 4-8:
Jaylin Scott is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Brandi Baggett's fifth grade class. Jaylin's favorite books are the Harry Potter series. His favorite food is chicken. Jaylin likes to practice and play basketball when he is not in school. He wants to play basketball in the NBA when he grows up. Mrs. Baggett says, "Jaylin is the kind of student that all teachers want! He is well-rounded in academics, athletics, and personality. He loves to learn and works hard on any task he is given. He always gives his all. He is kind, caring, courteous, and always willing to help friends and peers. Jaylin is an impressive student and I know his hard work, determination, and personality will take him far."
Student of the Week for April 11-15:
Abby Potter is the Star Student of the Week from Ms. Barbara Buhler's fourth grade class. Abby's favorite books are the "Who Was" series. Her favorite food is dill pickles. Abby likes to play outside when she is not in school. She wants to be an art teacher when she grows up. Abby's classmates chose her as student of the week because they felt she is a great exampleof what an ideal fourth grader should be. They considered good citizenship, attendance, effort, etc.
Student of the Week for April 18-22:
Riley Hall is the Star Student of the Week from Miss Haley Henson's third grade class. Haley's favorite books are The Magic Tree House series. His favorite food is pizza. Riley likes to play his Xbox when he is not in school. He wants to be an a teacher when he grows up. Miss Henson says, "Riley was nominated because he is respectful to classmates and teachers. He is always willing to help his friends and teacher. He is honest, responsible, hardworking, and great at following directions. Riley is kind, thoughtful, and a joy to teach!"
Student of the Week for April 25-29:
Emma Belt is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Amy Adams's second grade class. Emma's favorite book is Owl Diaries. Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Emma likes to play hide and go seek when she is not in school. She wants to be an a lawyer when she grows up. Mrs. Adams says, "Emma is a model student. She always tries her best and has been very successful in second grade. Her attitude at school is one that is very positive and helpful. She is a student that any teacher would love to have!"
