Student of the Week for January 4-8:

Sara Adcox is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Emily Matlock's fifth grade class.  Sara's favorite book is The Hobbit.  Her favorite food is ice cream.  Sara likes to play basketball, when she is not in school.  She wants to be a scientist when she grows up.  Mrs. Matlock says, "Sara is a hard worker and a good student.  She is kind to others and is very respectful to everyone."

Student of the Week for January 11-18:

Maddy Hall is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Pam Dwyer's fourth grade class.  Maddy's favorite book is A Series of Unfortunate Events.  Her favorite food is mashed potatoes.  Maddy likes to ride horses when she is not in school.  She wants to be a cancer research scientist when she grows up.  Mrs. Dwyer says, "Maddy is truly a 'star student'.  She is very caring, trustworty, and dependable.  Her drive to succeed is something she strives for daily.  Her excellent attitude is reflected in her achievements.  I am very proud of her and the accomplishments she continues to make."

Student of the Week for January 19-22:

Colby Burgess is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Ronda Robinson's third grade class.  Colby's favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  His favorite food is chicken and dumplings.  Colby likes to hunt and fish when he is not in school.  He wants to be a policeman when he grows up.  Mrs. Robinson says, "Colby exhibits all the characteristics of a well-rounded student.  He comes to school prepared and eager to learn.  He does what he is asked to do, always giving his best effort.  He is kind and a friend to all his classmates.  Colby is a pleasure to have in class."

Student of the Week for January 25-29:

Laura Lugg is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Ginger Cressman's second grade class.  Laura's loves all books and doesn't have a favorite.  Her favorite food is pizza.  Laura likes to play outside at her house when she is not in school.  She wants to be an artist when she grows up.  Mrs. Cressman says, "Laura is a model student.  She always listens intently during lessons and does her best on her assignments.  She also helps her teacher and classmates any time it is needed."
