Hayden Dodd is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Mandie Gasiecki's first grade class. 
What do you like about school? that we read
What was the last book you read? all the Biscuit books
If you had $1,000, what would you do with it? I would put it in my piggy bank.
What is something that you do well? feeding my turtle
What do you like to do for fun? go to the park with my mommy
What do you want to be when you grow up? a nurse
Mrs. Gasiecki says, "Hayden is an absolute joy to have in class.  His love of learning and impeccable manners make this teacher's heart smile!  His hard work and kindness set a wonderful example for his peers.  We are lucky to have him in our class."

Madelynn Hernandez-Mires is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Janessa Rodgers's Kindergarten class. 
What do you like about school? going to Art
What was the last book you read? The Snowy Day
If you had $1,000, what would you do with it? I would buy stuff for the school and home.
What is something that you do well? counting to 100 really fast
What do you like to do for fun? come to school because it's my favorite place
What do you want to be when you grow up? a teacher
Mrs. Rodgers says, "Madelynn always comes in with a smile and a positive attitude.  She is a hard worker and a terrific friend to all.  What a great role model to her peers!"

What do you want to be when you grow up? engineer
Mrs. Dwyer says, "Evie has a love of reading and learning that shines through her every single day, and it is very contagious.  I am always excited to hear her thoughts and contributions to class discussions.  She is a hard worker, dependable, and very determined to learn.  We all love that about her."
