Bentley Franklin is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Camille Brooks-Brasher's first grade class.
What do you like to do for fun? play kickball
What is something that you do well? read
What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be on the SWAT team with Hutch as my partner.
What do you like about school? I like gym, I like to run!
What was the last book you read? Night Songs and What Do You See at the Sea? - I've read 7 books this week.
Mrs. Brooks-Brasher says "Bentley is extremely respectful and kind to his classmates as well as adults. Bentley always looks for the opportunity to help me and his school, he cleans the restrooms and picks up trash when he see it on the floor or playground. Bentley also works very hard in class, he wants to be a better reader, so he takes books home every night."

Jailee Hunt is the Star Student of the Week from Ms. Amy Lewis's Kindergarten class.
What do you like to do for fun? go play at my park at my house and play with my toys
What is something that you do well? I'm good at helping my Daddy mow the lawn and picking up sticks.
What do you want to be when you grow up? firefighter
What do you like about school? I like to do my work and help my teacher
What was the last book you read? a book about penguins
Ms. Lewis says "Jailee is always the sweetest and most helpful child. Her smile lights up the room wherever she goes. She is a very hard worker who goes the extra mile to do her best."

Abby Potter is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Kelsey Dotson's fifth grade class.
What do you like to do for fun? I like to do art for fun.
What is something that you do well? Gymnastics
What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be an elementary teacher.
What do you like about school? I like art and making new friends.
What was the last book you read? Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep
Mrs. Dotson says "Abby is an excellent role model for her peers. She is at school each day ready to learn, and I can always count on her to do her best. She is kind and polite to others, and there are many students who call her 'friend'. Abby has integrity and a great work ethic, and I can't wait to see how far she goes in life."
